You need to install SAV from CD2 of the SEP download media

Here is the step by step procedure for install

Hello,

Symantec Endpoint Protection version 11/12 does not support Linux environment. There is no SEP for Linux. There is SAV for Linux (SAVFL) which is included on the SEP disk download.

The SAVFL client cannot be managed by the SEPM, although it can report logs back to the SEPM by using SAV Reporter, which was released after SAVFL 1.0.10, but can be downloaded from the following KB article.

Chetan - Is it required different license as i am running with sep 11.0.7...

el cuadro de los Rafeeq

Sep 11.0 has only paper license. you dont have to import / export anything.

Make sure the no of licenses what you have purched match the installation.

#Edit

Hi,

Basically it's a unmanaged client so it won't get calculated in the SEPM count if using SEP 12.1

SEP 11.x is paper license only however you need to count a license for them as well to be compliant with Symantec regarding your number of licenses/seats even though it's not

You can refer these threads

https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/how...

https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/sep...

Important to check following JohnQ comments

You should ensure that:

"SEP for Windows" clients + "SEP for MAC" clients + "SAV for Linux" client <= total number of SEP licenses (seats) you bought.
