Altiris Dallas User Group Meeting - July 29

Join us for the next Altiris Dallas User Group meeting on Wednesday, July 29 from 8:30am to 12:00pm at PBS&J.

We have an excellent agenda lined up! Our first presentation will be by Zach Smith from BNSF Railway. He will share his recent experience using Altiris Deployment Solution to image and deploy 140 servers from bare metal to production.

Following Zach, we will have a presentation and demo by Symantec Product Manager, Stephen Brown on Mobile Management Solution which includes new and improved features like Inventory, Software Delivery, Remote Management, and Remote Control.

In addition, the most requested topic at our last meeting was Dell Client Manager (DCM). So, we are pleased to announce Jordan Gardner, Symantec Technical Alliance Manager will be joining us.

Jordan will share how to use DCM to view detailed hardware inventory and BIOS settings, upgrade and configure the BIOS remotely, and remotely monitor hardware health and system status. He will also show how to extend DCM to grab system warranty status and create custom automation policies notifying you when Dell system warranties are expiring.
