Please see the questions from the webcast below, with answers. Feel free to post any additional questions here as well.
How will the recorded meeting be sent to participants, and in what format?
You can indeed through the Patch Management cube. Please see the screenshot below:
Publishing reports to a SharePoint server is fairly straight forward, it depends on which version of SharePoint you are using though. If you have SharePoint Enterprise version then we’d recommend doing it through Performance Point. For Sharepoint Foundation and SharePoint Standard, you could just publish links to the SQL Reporting Services reports. Keep an eye out on Connect, I'll have an article coming soon that walks you through the process.
By default, policy information is not in the Patch Management cube, however you can get fairly close to this based on what is mocked up in the screenshot below. That will at least show which updates are not enabled for the number of vulnerable computers.
This is certainly an enhancement request I will take to our product team. Since policy information does reside in the Symantec CMDB, you could build a SQL Reporting Services report that would be somewhat similar to the process followed in this article. Just use the dbo.vPMCore_SoftwareUpdatePolicyAppliesTo view as this should have most of the information you are looking for. Please feel free to contact me directly if that doesn't help.
Nice information...
Thanks
Shiva
