Alan Shimel, managing partner of the CISO Group: Alan Shimel serves as managing partner and chief execuvite officer of the CISO group, providing consulting and analysis, and helping organizations deal with compliance issues. Shimel is an often-cited personality in the security community and is a sought-after speaker at industry and government conferences and events. His commentary about the state of security is followed closely by many industry insiders via his blog and podcast, "Ashimmy, After All These Years" His legal background, long experience in the field, and New York street smarts combine to form a unique personality.
Prior to The CISO Group, Alan was the Chief Strategy Officer at StillSecure. Prior to co-founding StillSecure, Alan worked at Cachier, a manufacturer of network acceleration appliances, Interliant, Dell Computer, Verisign, Microsoft, IBM, Cisco and EMC.
Alan is a graduate of St. Johns University with a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Politics, and holds a JD degree from NY Law School

Mike holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Finance from Murray State University.

As Symantec’s Social Media Strategist, Yunsun sets the policies, processes and training for the company’s social media presence.
Prior to Symantec, Yunsun worked on various technology accounts at Ketchum Public Relations. She was also part-time lecturer at California State University, Long Beach where she taught a public relations writing course for external audiences. Yunsun is currently a member of SocialMedia.org.
Yunsun received her bachelors’ of arts degree in journalism with an emphasis in public relations and a minor in marketing from California State University, Long Beach.
