Will not be attending.
It'll be hard to attend. We're looking to migrate to Altiris 7 from 6.9. If anyone has any first hand experiences/recommendations, please PM me.

Great job Team Kansas City, in winning the 2010 User Group Challenge!
Congrats to the Kansas City and St. Louis user groups (original Altiris user groups at that) for taking the top two spots in the challenge. Well done.

Who's responsible for blocking or removing adverstising from these posts? The California jobs post has nothing to do with the Symantec forum, nor does selling laptops (received yesterday) or any other product not associated with Symantec.
TA's can do it if they see it. I've deleted it for you. I imagine Mark as Offensive does something as well, but I'm not sure who that goes to.

Hi Scott,
As mclemson said, the Trusted Advisors and site admins will clean up any spam posts...the tricky part is that it is a manual effort. Changes are/will be implemented to increase the difficulty to register a new account, which should help block the spam posts. The good news is that these posts are almost certainly NOT from automated bots, but someone being paid to spam (here's your "work from home" job!) If you do encounter one, you can click the "Mark as Offensive" and/or "thumbs down" on it, or PM the Community Manager for the community where the post showed up (i.e. Endpoint Management, Security, Storage and Clustering, etc). You can see a similar discussion here, and a list of the Community Managers here.
Thanks,
Kyle
