Join us for our next Washington DC Storage & High Availability User Group meeting on Wednesday, January 27 from 12:00 pm until 3:00 pm at GEICO.

This meeting will include a presentation by Satbir Thukral from SIRIUS Satellite Radio on Storage Foundation Manager, a free tool that enables operations teams to manage Veritas Storage Foundation and related operations across all platforms from a centralized management framework.

We will also have a discussion led by Maqsood Khan, Symantec Systems Engineer, on high availability and disaster recovery. Come prepared to share your ideas and experiences.

Directions:
GEICO is a very short walk from the Friendship Heights stop on the Metro Red Line. At the Friendship Heights stop, go up the long escalator towards Western Ave. At the top of the escalator, go through the Western Ave. & 44th St/Mazza Gallerie exit. Walk one block and turn right on Friendship Blvd. At this point, you will be able to easily see the GEICO tower.

Parking:
Parking is available at the Bloomingdales on Friendship Blvd. Rates for 3-4 hrs is $9. The parking garage is directly across from GEICO. The Bloomingdales address is 5300 Western Avenue.

Check-in:
Go to the guard’s desk in the main lobby and let them know you are there for the User Group meeting. A GEICO employee will escort you to the conference room.
