    Hi All,

    I am stuck.

    PGP WDE Decryption interrupted overnight by hard shutdown. Unable to resume. Error says "Not permitted by administrator (-12198)-

    From command line:


    C:\Program Files (x86)\PGP Corporation\PGP Desktop>pgpwde --resume --disk1 --pas
    sphrase XXXXXXXXXXXXXX
    invalid flag "--disk1"
    Operation resume encrypt or decrypt failed:
    Error code -11984: item not found

    C:\Program Files (x86)\PGP Corporation\PGP Desktop>pgpwde --enum

    How can I get past this error and resume the decryption?

    Hardshutdown whilst encrypting/decrypting can be very messy.  There is a Power Failure option inside PGP Desktop to mitigate power outages etc.  If you cannot resume it via PGP Desktop you are going to have to try and do it via the Recovery CD.
