Hi Gary,

Please stop the anti-virus if running during mailbox backup.

Why do I need to stop the anti virus during a backup? I have been running this backup for somw time now and have never had a problem with the anti virus running.

Gary,

If the AV scan is running durnig the backup it scans the DLL and EXE that the Exchange DB is using and BE is backing up at the same time.

Stop the AV for test purposes just to check if the backup is successful or not.
