    Hi,

Thank you for posting in Symantec community.

I would be glad to answer your question.

Symantec has released SEP 12.1 RU3 in this month.

I would also suggest to upgrade to SEP 12.1 RU3 directly.

Could you please provide the following info to guide you in more better direction.

    • Existing SEPM version & total number of SEPM's in the network.
    • Total number of clients and their versions
    • Want to migrate clients also to the latest version.
    • Free disk space available on SPEM installed drive.
    • Are there any remote sites, if yes what's the bandwidth of link and total number of clients per site

    Hi,

If clients are on the network then try to replace sylink.xml file and check if they comes online or not.

If they came online autoupgrade feature should upgrade them to the latest version.

    Hello,

In such situations, pushing the sylink.xml is the easiest option.

Check these Articles on how you can deploy the sylink.xml file from the SEPM itself.

For pending system you can replace sylink file.

When client can communicate with server it will be upgrade with Autoupgrade.

If count is low then replace it manually

If count is high then use the sylink replacer tool for 12.1
