Nothing to upgrade on SEPM.  Windows do have the upgrade.

 

The download for SEP for Mac is still 12.1.4.  Is there or will there be an upgrade to 12.1.4_MP1 for Mac out?

There wasn't an update for Mac in this latest one. I heard for RU5 which is due later this year.

The latest version is Sep 12.1 RU4 MP1b. So for no upgrade package available for Mac . as .Brian is right RU 5 going to be released , when I call Symantec they said on September it is going to be released .

Thats for SEPs application and device control driver. This feature does not exist on MAC.. thats why no update.

To confuse things even more:

If you installed SEPM RU4 (12.1.4013), you would have two PC and one Mac package of the same version (12.1.4013)

If you then upgraded your SEPM to RU4 MP1, it would add two new PC packages and one new Mac package of version 12.1.4100. There are specific changes/fixes in the PC packages. There is NO difference (changes/fixes/enhancements) to the Mac package other than changing the version in the "About...".

If your Macs are running 12.1.4013, no need to upgrade them to 12.1.4100!

BTW, SEP Mac RU4 (any version) will NOT install in the public beta release of Yosemite (10.10).

New SEPM version 12.1 RU5 is release which has newly upgrade version of MAC. You can go with this version

What’s New

 As part of the upgrade to Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM) 12.1 RU5, all content converts from full definitions to delta definitions. 

This process is resource intensive and upgrades may take longer than expected. After this process is completed, the SEPM will use significantly less disk space
