  • 1.  12.1.6 MP3 patch files

    Up until 12.1.5, Symantec was pretty good about getting patch files to get each build level up to the latest patch level.  Are patch files going to get released for 12.1.6.6680.6300?

    They should be but may be a week behind

    Cool.  I could probably get those pushed through quicker than deploying the full install package, which has a higher probability of changed install drives and options.

    Yes, you will get it. Generally Symantec releases patch within few weeks after main release. I will try to check with the concern team and will update thread once it made available.

    Btw, Symantec still have not released Client Patches for 12.1 RU6 MP2 which was released around 02/Oct/2015.   :-(

    It would be good if they again started releasing the patches regularly soon after the main release.  ;-)

    Thanks for the link.  Yes, why don't they post it to their usual file downloads area?  I've been checking frequently, and they finally added MP3, but no files.
