Anyone ever experience this?

here's the scenario, we have SEPM running SNAC with SQL Database, we're going to add SEP funtionality on the SEPM of the SNAC  but I cant figure out how to deal with the current database the SEPM for SNAC is using, should I create a new Database for the SEP funtionality or is it possible to use the database of SNAC  together with the SEP?

understanding your question correctly, you can have SEPM and SNAC on same box and it will use the same DB. There are tables within for SNAC related entries.

Yeah that's also what I was thinking, but the thing here is that the SNAC database is already stablished and running with the configurations stored, and we're just about to install the SEP function on the SEPM of the SNAC (making the SEP and SNAC running on the same box). So will it just share the database? even if the SEP is just new installed? is that how it work?

i assume  SNAC is host based, correct? if yes then there should not be any issue.

Yes it is, and I assume that the host you're talking about is the SEPM?

You can use same database for SEP funtionality and also for SNAC.

The database for SEPM with be shared between SNAC and SEP table - should be working without issues.
