32 bit and 64 bit exclusons

A prefix variable indicates a well-known Windows folder. Select a prefix variable to apply the exception on the client computers that run different Windows operating systems. If you select a prefix variable, the path name should be relative to the selected prefix variable.

The default is [NONE].

Note:

The prefix variable applies to 32-bit and 64-bit folders. For example, if you select [PROGRAM_FILES], both the Program Files (x86) and the Program Files folders are excluded.

Yes, or without the backslash. Either syntax will work when it comes to the variable
