  • 1.  404 when accessing Web Messenger

    Posted Aug 03, 2011 11:33 AM

    Hello,

I am trying to deploy the Web Messenger component of PGP Universal Server. I have enabled the Web Messenger service and the UI reports that it is up and running. I have set the public URL to an internal hostname (https://pgpsvr) to allow for some initial testing.

However, when I visit https://pgpsvr the page redirects and I just get an Apache Tomcat 404 message ("HTTP Status 404 - /b/g.e").

Any ideas where I am going wrong?

    Hello,

i cannot say what exactly is going wrong here, but did you try to do a reboot of the universal server? Also, are you using the latest version?

    Hello Adam,

    Try using :

    keys.domain.com

mail.domain.com   where domain is name of your domain.

This depends on the name that you have specified at the time of installation.

Either the URL is not correct OR you need the check if tomcat, HTTPd service if that is running.
