    Dear Symantec-Team,

    We had an email server going live last week and some email are being rejected with the "501 Connection Rejected" error.

    IP: 

    178.16.56.48
    
    
    178.16.56.49
    
    
    188.94.249.252

     

    Could you please delist them, were not on any RBL

    I have checed the IP's and two are listed (178.16.56.48,178.16.56.49) for which I have also submitted de-listings for.

    I've got 2 Questions:

    1. Are those IP's listed again?

    2. Who could we as an ISP check your cloud-Services if we were blocked?

    Hi Marcel,

    Those IP's are clear no re-listing as far as I can see. We do make use of the PBL Spamhaus block list as part of are service. We also do have many other internal systems that are not publicly visible. They're only visible to our customers. This forum would be the best option for non customers currently.

    How could we become a customer, to see your "internal systems that are not publicly visible". It's important for us to see

    Our scanning service is made up of a multi-faceted layered approach to email scanning. Customers of the Symantec.cloud service gain access to implement all or some of these controls these include personal blocked IP/Domain/Email Address lists, Block lists and different methods of Anti Virus and Anti Spam scanning engines.

    Access to these are only visible to full Email Security.cloud customers. If you wish to become an email security.cloud customer you will need to enquire via the sales channel here:

    Dear Dave

     

    our IP 66.11.119.236 is also blocked. We are getting bounced message as following

     

    >: host cluster8.eu.messagelabs.com[85.158.139.35]

    refused to talk to me: 501 Connection rejected by policy [7.7] 17903, please visit www.messagelabs.com/support for more details about this error message.

     

     

    Please unblock our IP as soon as possible. Our IP is not listed on anyother list.
