what is it backing up in the file list? is it a parent job and a child Job?

Are you backing up to a SLP or have multiple copies enabled?

Mark_Solutions's picture

You collect BMR information - so you will get 3 parent jobs that collect the BMR information followed by 3 jobs that do the actual backup

So what you see is fine - the job details will confirm this and the first three will not show a schedule as they are parent jobs

Hope this helps

If you bothered to have a look at each tab in each tab of each of the jobs. you would've been able to figure it out...

Thank Mark,

What BMR is doing here in this policy?

What if BMR was set to NO?

Mark_Solutions's picture

BMR is enabled and collects the BMR metadata and trasnfers it to the Master Server

If you deselect the collection of BMR data then you would just have three jobs run

What BMR is doing here in this policy?

Are you asking MARK to tell you why BMR is selected??

Well... Really... !!

Only the person who created this policy can answer this question.

What if BMR was set to NO?

It is easy enough to answer your own question - just do it!
