Ok, I will rephrase it, are any of you purchasing a license for each machine that will be backed up or are you all purchasing one console license only?

You need a licence for each machine you install the agent on, so a licence for the server and an agent licence for each machine you want to backup.
Hmmm... I don't see the agent anywhere for purchase, anyone?
Licensing Overview
Backup Exec System Recovery is licensed on a per system basis. For example, if you have 20 servers you want to protect with Backup Exec System Recovery, you would need to purchase 20 licenses of Backup Exec System Recovery Server Edition.
