Hey guys,

Our normal DS guru has ducked out of the office for a few weeks and we urgently need to upgrade from SP3.

A question that I need answered is this: Can we run SP5 on an SQL2000 db? I know it's not "supported" by Symantec, but I have heard bits and peices out there saying that it is still usuable.

Is that the case?

I dont think this will be an issue.

You can first try this upgrade scenario on your test environment and see the results.

If its successfull then apply the same in your working environment .

We have XP SP3 setup with sql 2000 and we never faced any issue while upgrading to SP5.
