Does anyone know if there is any actual functionality behind the preboot oem extensions in DS 7.1?  The only possible selection in the console is "DS Agent" & I'm not finding a way to determine what that entails and how to create other extension options.  In DS 6.9 you could set up "oem" configs in ....\bootwiz\oem\<extension name>.  You could put files there that would be included in preboot/WinPE setups using that extension. You could use specialized startup.bat, startutil.bat, etc files in these oem setups......very useful. The oem directory is still there, along with a "DS" extension directory (not "DS Agent", as in the console), but additional extension directories are not seen by the console.  The only reference I find in the DS User Guide is "Select the OEM extension to use"....duh.  Sure hope this functionality is still there.........

you're right, I'm very curious to know how this "OEM Extensions" could be used in DS 7.1.

Perhaps the feature is deprecated and still there for backward compatibility with DS 6.9 feature ?

Anyway, I've just created a new test preboot configuration on my test server and you cannot enter a blank value or a different value from

"DS Agent"...
