  • 1.  Ability to paste an IP Address into the client search window

    I would like Symantec to change the formating requiments for an IP address in the search window. Most everyone who uses that are "IT professionals" and know how to type in an IP address correctly. Plus SEP can check the input once it's transmitted. I look up a couple dozen machines daily, and it's a real pain to have to "manually" type in the IP address, especially when it's on the clipboard and could be pasted with a single stroke! .. Thanks :-)

    SEP antivirus or Altiris management?  What product is this about?

    You can paste in the search in the SEP Manager. It just isn't real obvious. Another reason I don't like JAVA, but it's probably just the developers that don't add basic Windows features into their apps. At any rate, try this: If you can't get a response from a right mouse click, try the standard keyboard shortcuts - Shift+Insert key, and if that doesn't work, try Ctrl+V.
