This issue has been solved. See solution.

We are looking at putting in Symantec Endpoint software for our AV solution. Right now we have nothing. Because of the business we do, the AV engine must be off during business hours on the remote servers and some workstations. Can this be scheduled though the management interface or will I have to script it out?

Thanks!!

Wow.  What an awful idea. No,

Wow.  What an awful idea.

No, there is no setting in the enterprise security software to turn itself off during the high-risk periods.

Perhaps you could just infect your machines with a fake-AV and save yourself some cost.

No it cannot be done and

No it cannot be done and neither it is recommended.

If you try to do this you are making your machine vulnerable for threats and infection
