Nagalla is right. ITIL is all about policies and procedures. There is no direct relation with NBU or any other backup software.

ITIL is a set of practices for IT service management. The framework is developed by the British Government. The current version is 3.
As company you don't have to implement as aspect of ITIL. ITIL don't tell you how to perform a operation, just that it a very good idea to do it.
