File Share Encryption

Hi Experts! Good day! In our test env, we have pgp server1 and pgp server2, we have encrypt laptop1 using installer from server1, we want laptop1 to connect to server2, is it possible?? Do we need to decrypt laptop1 and encrypt it again using installer from servr 2? Or do i need to change something from server1 Thanks

It depends on how you set it up.  Are the two servers clustered, or are they autonomous (i.e. Server1 is a test server, and you want to migrate the client to Server2, which is production)?

A registry change can be performed to change the PGP Stamp of the system to point it to the new server.  You would also want to delete the existing user preferences and policies to enroll properly with the new server.  A document walking through the process can be found here:
