  • 1.  Access is denied - can't run any DS jobs

    I did some Windows Updates this weekend, and now I can't run any DS jobs. They all come back with the error: "Access is denied" and Status Code 5.

    I didn't find anything in the knowledgebase or forums regarding this problem.

    I'm on DS 6.9 Build 164

    Any ideas?

    Did you run Windows Updates on your server or clients? What updates did you install? Have you rebooted your server?

    Thanks for your reply - it's resolved now. It was a combination of things - server needed to be rebooted, clients I was trying were having other issues...one of those things where one error points to multiple problems that don't really have much to do with the original error.
