Access Denied inside Full VM backup

I'm doing a "Full VM" backup of a virtual machine using VCB.  It appears to be working correctly, but I'm getting an "Access Denied" message for a directory inside the virtual machine. If this is a "Full VM" backup, why is BE trying to access a directory inside the VM.  Is my "Full VM" backup still valid if I receive this message on a directory inside the VM?  Does this only affect the GRT restore ability of BE?

VSS Support ?

Hi There,

Please make sure that you've installed the latest VMWare tools with the VSS Suport and also make sure the VSS service is actually running in your WIndows VM.
