  • 1.  Access denied on Intel AMT config section

    In Altiris CMS 7.1 I get access denied to items 4,5,6, and 7 in Getting Started Intel AMT for OOB. I tried different accounts that have Symantec Administrator role. I got this message right after I installed OOB services on the NS. This is the error message:

     

    Access Denied

    You currently do not have sufficient network access rights to the Notification Server console.

    Please contact your local area network administrator for further assistance.

     

     

    I did a fresh install of CMS 7.1 on a test machine and I did not get access denied on any site, any ideas? thanks

    Make sure that your IntelAMT database is being authenticated using SQL native authentication. There are issues if you are using Windows Authentication.

    Seems, it is problem with Intel AMT database authentication. Verify PLS AMT database settings on OOB Web Portal Page (Home/ Remote Configuration/ OOB). Verify that AMTConf server running on your OOB Site Server computer.
