Access to other users archive explorer

This issue has been solved. See solution.

I am trying to troubleshoot an issue where a user sees a co-worker's archive explorer.  I have checked the users mailbox to confirm that from an exchange 2010 perspective that a user does not have full control and is not configured as a delegate.  Any thoughts on how to pursue the removing of the users access?

When viewing the permissions of the archive, is the unwanted user listed?  If the user is listed do they show as inherited (grayed out)?  Does the unwanted user (or default/anonymous) have permissions to the user's mailbox/calendar/ any other foler in Outlook?

If you go to your EV Installation directory theres a program called PermissionsBrowser.exe
In there , select the users archive on the left, and you should see a list of users and who has access to it

It could just be coming from the fact that the user has permissions to see calendar or something like that

Also, if you open up Outlook, and right click the users mailbox name at the very top and go to Folder Permissions, in the permissions tab does it just list Default and anonymous or does it actually have anyone else listed there? such as a Distribution List or security group?

To get rid of the permissions entirely, you could do a permissions zap against the archive.
but then when the permissions are re-synchronized, they will come back if the user has permissions have been set in Outlook etc

Are they using the same windows login?

Internet Explorer will cache the folder list for the windows login, not the EV login. You can reset the folder list by right clicking in the folder pane and selecting Refresh.
