  • 1.  access rights to check the Inventory Policy Schedule

    Posted Aug 27, 2012 08:00 AM

    Hi,

When we are trying to  check the Inventory Policy Schedule for our environment in  NS we are getting the following message as "You currently do not have sufficient network access rights to the Notification Server console.

Please contact your local area network administrator for further assistance."

Can anyone tell me which previliege or role is required to enable so that i can get the rights to check the Inventory Policy. I have attached a screen shot also.

    Thanks,

    Pravash

    Hi Pravash,

Is it happening to specific user/security group? Is he assigned to custom security role/default role? If your organisation using custom security role, then clone it and assign the user to the cloned role and check it out. Some time you may experience this issue after migration from 7.0 to 7.1.

    With regards

    Viswanath Sampath

    Hi Viswa,

Its happening to a specific security group and the group has been assigned to a custom security role. Please note that the noe of our group members have been  assigned Symantec Administrators role.

Now point is that we need to find out and ask the admin the exact option in custom security role to enable so that we can get the access to check the Inventory Policy details.

    Thanks,
