    Hello,

after upgrade of SEPM to 12.1.3 I receive a popup: you cannot access this server from this ip address.

Is there any way to solve this?

    thank you

    Hello,

Since you are running SEP 12.1, please follow the steps provided below:

    1. Login to SEPM
    2. Go to Admin >> Servers >> Select SEPM(Site name) >> Edit Server Properties >> Under General tab in “Server communication Permissions".
    3. Add the IP address of SEPM to exceptions list.
    4. Run replication again or add a replication partner.

    Hope that helps!!

Ok, but I am localy on the server where SEPM is installed and cannot login.

Is this Permission somwhere in config or is it in DB? Is there some way to change it?

    Hello,

This is caused when Server Communication permissions are allowed to limited users.

    OR

If in Server Properties, Server Communication Permission is set to Access Deny for other IP Addresses.

Try the steps provided above and  check again.

But I cannot login to SEPM and change it, because I allways get this error.

Therefore I am asking, if this is changable somewhere in a config file.

    Hello,

I hope you are running the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager and not the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager Web Console.

Could you try starting the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager from START >> All Programs >> Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager >> Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager.

NOTE: The Confusion happens since the icon for Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager and Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager Web Console are almost similar.

Secondly, if you are already Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager then try checking the SEPM machine has a static IP address.

    Hope that helps!!

thank you for you reply, but unfortunately this is not my case. The server has static IP address. And I am trying to open the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager and not Web Console. But in the Web console I get the same error

    Hello,

What happens if you try logging to Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager Java Console from another machine?

    http://localhost:9090/

On the same machine install the Symantec webconsole or on diff machine.

I think you entered localhost by mistake in the server - admin tab..
