  • 1.  Accessing Un-encrypted Disk

    Hi Team,
    While implementing the PGP WDE 11.0.1, in the central consol I see few laptops where only C drive in encrypted and D drive is not encrypted for past 2 months.

    My query is, if the Laptop gets stolen, is there a possibility of making the HDD slave and accessing D drive which did not get encrypted while C is encrypted or none of the drives will get accessible.
    This is to understand the Risk to those few laptops which had one drive not getting encrypted due to some reason.

    Hi,

     

    If your policy is not encrypt the whole disk, meaning that the partition D will remain unencrypted, so unencrypted disk can accessable using slave method.
