  • 1.  Aclient and Dagents not updating status

    We're using DS 6.9 SP5, and we used to be able to rely on the DS Console computer icon to tell us if a user is logged on.  I'm seeing that is totally unreliable since we upgraded from SP1.  If I restart the Dagent or Aclient service with Remote Computer Mgmt, it then reports the correct status.  Is anyone else out there seeing this type of behavior?

    The 2 groups i knew that tried SP5 all had various issues. We have SP4 as our test server and it has various problems the main one is not all console can access it even with rights. Our production is still 6.9 SP2.

    There were issues in prior releases that were fixed by SP5, and I haven't seen this in SP5.  Are you sure the clients in question have been upgraded to the current version?

    I would suggest that you re-install few client and check if they are facing the same problem.

    Thanks for the feedback. All the agents have been upgraded to 6.9.490.  This has gotten a lot better since I posted.  I think it might've been a network change that happened around the same time.  If no one else is seeing this, I have to assume that it is/was network related.
