Deployment Solution

Hi,
Ok so I can get the AClient to install from my DS onto the clients. But I'd like to just send out the client from the NS. However when I do this the client does install, but it does not seem to know who the server is on some machines. If I look at the server it's trying to connect to, that's not the actual DS, that's the same IP of the client. Any idea what the issue is?



Also, is there a way to view the Deployment Tab on the Altiris Console and see the username as well as the Machine name? It'd be faster to look for a user name as most people don't know their host name.

Build the INP file to ave all of the desired Aclient settings, then include the INP file in your NS Package and envoke it in your install command.

%altiris-aclient-6.8.378.X86.exe% aclient.inp

Ok, I did that, built the inp and it's now in my directories and replicated through to my package servers.
Command line is: "%altiris-aclient-6.9.164.X86.exe% -silent aclient.inp". I've tried sending it but what I'm getting now is that package is not available error message on the Altiris client.



Now if I click ok, I can actually see the package



Any ideas?
