This issue has been solved. See solution.

Does anyone know the pros and cons to using AD integration. I have almost 45000+- machines and 8000 AD groups.

Integration with AD will only give you two benifits

1) You can import  your OU structure which helps you to get all your predefined groups so that its easy for you to create policies by looking at the groups.

2) You can set up AD authentication for SEPM.

Other than these two , you still have to create packages ,create policies, push the package.

Hello Thave,

Firstly, I am not a SEP expert. If you integrate sep with ad, your ad ou structure will probably be seen on SEPM. Since this circustance, if your ad ou design does not coincide with you sep policy etc. needs , it may cause trouble for you.

regards.
