Actvie Directory overwrites user contact information in helpdesk

We currently upgraded the Notification Server to 6.5 and moved our NS server into our active directory domain structure. I like that I can assign tasks to the AD groups it reduces a lot of time trying to figure out how to build specific collections. However our AD load did not include full data for our users so now we lost all of the contact phone numbers and job titles that we used to pull in for the helpdesk from a seperate load. The AD synch deletes the information my question is can I bring in the AD part of usernames, ou and container info but also keep the other information from a sql load from our Banner database. Or do I need to make my AD information more complete. The operation staff does not want to change the AD load at this time so I am struggling to see which is my best option

While I'd ultimately recommend making your AD complete and allowing that information to come down there is a way to change that information.
You'll need to modify the NSSOURCE.XML file to change what is imported from your Notification Server.
