    Hi everyone,

I made a mistake with my SEPM.

I setup my AD authentication with SEP admin account. I have changed my AD password, and I can't change the password of AD on my SEP (to syncronyze with my AD).

    Can anyone help?

So you're unable to login, correct?

    What version of SEPM?

I have my SEP connected with my AD. I have changed my AD password, and I have configured my admin account from SEP with the domain account.

I can not to syncronize my AD with SEP after this.

    Hello,

If you have linked this account with an AD account follow the steps below....

    1. Remember the account in AD that was linked to the admin account for SEP Manager
    2. Let consider the account name you linked with is "myaccountinad"
    3. The password of "myaccountinad" is "password"

    Login using the -

Username: admin (would remain the same even after linking just password that gets maped)

Password: password (password of the account ("myaccountinad") which is linked to admin)

VERY IMP : YOU CAN LINK ANY ACCOUNT INCLUDING "admin"ACCOUNT

    Secondly, check this Article:

    https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/articles/how-reset-symantec-endpoint-protection-manager-console-password-sep-121

and check this Thread with similar query -

    Hope that helps!!

Yes. I can log in with SEP, but I can't change the password (AD account) that I input with admin account (SEP).

When I try to synchronize client computers with my domain, I receive a message: "Fail to Synchronize with directory Server".

I created a new SEP admisnitrator, but nothing change.

    Hello,

Delete the Directory Server from the list in the SEPM then add it again with the new information.

Any organizational units imported from this server will also need to be removed, re-added, and have their policies reassigned.

    Hope that helps!!
