  • 1.  AD Sync 7.1

I am trying to sync Service Desk to an AD in one of our affiliate offices. I have 5 profiles that were created and are working for almost 2 years now. I took the same steps as the others. Created credentials using the same information except for the endpoint matched their domain. Then created a sync profile in Service Desk. When that is created I can view their AD structure. The minute I hit test it fails. It will not sync. It errors out everytime. Everything is identical. My network team has verified nothing is blocking traffic and can see the calls going down and coming back. Any ideas at this point would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Have you checked the log viewer for any errors?

This is the only error I get. It happens during the create sync profile. No errors are generated when I run the reset or update sync. I just get inside the verfication box an error has occured.

Are you only a Workflow user, or do you use Servicedesk as well?  If you use Workflow only, there are quite a few updates to AD Sync in later versions of Workflow.  You should consider upgrading.  For most Workflow only customers, upgrading is not a difficult process.
