This issue needs a solution.

Add Process Comment Inline webpart (7.5)

I receive the following error when setting "Add Process Comment" to view mode "Inline":

When set to button mode the feature works as intended.

 

Any ideas?

I was able to reproduce your result, and it's not immediately obvious to me why that error is being thrown. I've submitted it for further review as a potential defect.
