  • 1.  Adding disk space

    Hi

    I would like to know if exist a special process to increase de disk space in a SMG v10.5.1 that was installed in VMware.

    The servers were installed with 90GB but we want to increase it to 120 GB. Only increasing the space in VMware and is going to work?

    There's no specific steps for this, but Symnatec provide some high level guidelines as below:

    Hi SMLatCST

    So, it is not as simple as: Shutdown the SMG server, resize the virtual hard-disk in VMware and turn on the SMG Server again?  :(

    We don't have to much time to do all the restore process.

    Finally, I have the answer: "Currently the software does not allow the capability to repartition its drive space after it is installed."
