I am trying to get the Linux boot disk working from ghost solutions suite 2.5 but i am unable to figure out how to add addtional NIC drives to the installation. if i simply add the NIC drivers to the ghost console will they be automatically added to the Linux boot disk when it is created? Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

It is not possible to add drivers to Linux boot disk in Ghost Solution suite by Design. If you want to add drivers I would suggest you to use Windows PE.

For instruructions on adding Drivers to Windows Pe you can refer to the following links:

WinPE wont work for my situation since i have some legacy hardware that does not have ACPI. Also when i try to add drivers to the winpe image on ghost i get a 0x7e error.

how about using pc or MS DOS if this is legacy hardware?   If the NIC supports PXE and PXE booting is turned on in the bios (even if you don't have a PXE server)  then the Universal Packet Driver 2.0 works great in pc and ms dos both.

This might be worth a shot since you can't update the Linux os at this time.

    Cheers.

I already tried both PC DOS and MS DOS but the transfer rates were way to slow (90 MB a minute). My only solution at the moment is to figure out how to add drivers to the linux image.
