Have a query, we installed SEP v12 a month ago but we had to install without SONAR and Intrusion Prevention ticked in the install set as we had no time to test before role out.

How do I now add those features to the existing Clients?

I have tried using an install package assigned to the group with a new Feature set which has all options ticked and scheduled the upgrade, this uninstalled symantec and reinstalled it but exactly as it was before the additional features were not added. Also not keen on the reinstall as it requires a reboot in most cases.

Also the policy has been updated for the group to enable SONAR and IPS.

How should i be adding the additional features?

After apply you need to restart sep client.

In addition to the new feature set, create a new install settings and check remove all previous logs and reset client server communication, that should do the trick
