  • 1.  Adding a new CAB Group in SD 7.5

    Hi,

    Is there a document that illustrates the process of adding a new CAB Group in SD 7.5. I added a new group and members to it however, it has not come up in the Cab list. I have checked in Workflow and could see that it uses List Cabs component to get the list of CAB Groups, however, I am unable to understand from where? Even in the SD user guide I could see Adding groups is demonstrated however, its the same way I had added. There is nothing specific to CAB Groups.

    It would be great if someone could advise / guide.

    Along with a group, you also need to add the CAB via the service catalog entry called "Manage CABs". You'll need to link it to a group, so you're half way there.

    The CAB group information I believe is a cached value. Those any new CABs won't appear in the selection list until the cache has been updated. Depending on IIS this can take up to 20 minutes.
