Adding Universal Server managed users to a netshare folder

I have universal server setup to manager user keys. When I create a netshare folder, I can only add users whose keys I can see. How can I add Universal Server managed users to a netshare folder. The managed users do not have the ability to create their own keys. This is all managed by Universal Server.

Thanks

Hi,

Which version of Universal Server do you have?

Do you have your keys for these users configured to use Server Key Mode? Server Key Mode is not compatible with Netshare, Netshare requires the user have 'control' over their keys.

Starting with PGP Desktop 10.0/Unviersal 3.0, we've added enhancements so SKM keys can be used for disk and file encryption and decryption operations, and for decrypting MAPI when offline.

according to PGP Universal server documentation 3.0 it specifically says SKM can not be used with netshare. possibly i have an older copy, or this part was missed when the documentation was updated.

Likely that specific limitation was missed.  I'll let the doc team know.
