  • 1.  Additional Deployment console install

    Hi All,

    I have 2 sites that are linked together by a 10mb link. So it's not quick. We currently replicate all our SVS applications across to the 2nd site. My question is:

    1) If I install an additional deployment console, can I point it back to our current SQL database at site 1. The idea is that site 2 support staff can deploy jobs to their own local PC's. This will intern update the SQL database so that we can all see what's been happening.

    If you have the correct permissions in SQL and setup the ODBC connections you can connect to any other DS database with any console.

    You really don't want to install another server. You can run the console as many times as you want, however, you still want it to come from a local share.
