I am doing a deployment for a company which has configured End User Quarantine Access. They have in place a policy to not allow inbound e-mail messages if executable files are attached. They want the ability to have an administrator be able to release those messages if the end user contacts them and has a legitimate business case for allowing them.

The challenge as I see it is that if I send the message to the "Spam Quarantine," the end user will have the ability to release the message themself. I see no option to store the message in the "Suspected Virus" quarantine which the administrator would have access to, but the end user wouldn't. Is there any way to accomplish this? Please provide feedback at your convenience. Thanks!

What you have described is what the Quarantine Incident folders are for. You would create or edit your current policy to place the message into the quarantine incident folder of your choice. You then choose the action if the message is approved, then the action if the message is denied.

The Suspect Virus is not something you can choose to put files into, only the internal rules in the Messaging Gateway software can place messages there.
