When we push an Adobe product in SVS form we are losing our printers. The ones that were previously installed are gone. Any ideas?

Adobe what?

Which Adobe product are you pushing in a vsa (SVS layer)? You might want to check and see if it is a registry key that it overwrites. Do the printers show back up when the layer is deactivated?

Update your SVS version

You'll want to make sure you have the most up to date version of SVS installed. There was a bug that would remove all printers if the print spooler restarted while a layer was active. The KB article number is 26368.

Great answer

Article: Creating Printers in SVS Layers (e.g. Adobe PDF Printer) written by Adam Hall provides this answer.
