Hi, The Customer have the Symantec Antivirus Coporate Edition: 10.1.4.4000.

We have a issue with this threat.

The autoprotec left alone this threat but a full scan can delete the adaware.

Why the autoprotect can´t delete this threat?

    regards...

    hi,
     these files are there in
    C:\System Volume Information\_restore{8FC0AC7A-6AF3-4C9F-9C8A-CC100585463B}\RP462\

system vlume information. You need to disable this and scan the system in safe mode and then you may enable the system volume information.

    Cheers
    Pete

If file is infected but is idling and not being executed/accessed, Auto-Protect will not scan it. Scheduled scan that touches ALL files (or whatever you configured) will, and this is what you're seeing.
