AFO - Unable to open the item

Hello,

I need some help with this issue a one week a go my backup it's "completed with some exceptions" and

give the log information :"Unable to open the item............pdf file skipped".

We don´t understand because we didin't change any configuration and AFO (Advanced Open File) it's properly licencend and

selected on the configuration of the backup policy.

Please can anyone help us ?

Specs:

Win2003 R2 Enterprise

Backupexec 10d (V10.1 Rev.5629)

Are you getting this error for same file(s) every time?

yes in some PDF files in the same folder location...

Assuming that you are getting the error for the same set of files in every run of the job, I would suggest you (just to separate out the error) create a separate job only for that folder. If you get same error again, please ensure that the files are really readable (by opening them though some other application.) If you could post the debug logs (on the machine which has these files), we can try to figure out the exact cause of the error.

Hi,

 

Open your selection list, deselect the folder where that file is located, and then reselect it.

Also make sure that something like an AV isn't blocking access to that file for whatever reason!

Maybe look at removing the AOFO license and then re-adding it...
