Hello all. Any help will be much appreciated.

I installed SEPM 11.0.5 on windows server 2003 and i deployed SEP on 15 client machines which are in a WORKGROUP. The depoyment worked fine and i can see all my clients in the clients section on the SEPM with their respective green dot.

But neither on the clients, the green dot is appearing and when i open the GUI for SEP , i can see old definition files dated 2008 !!

How should i make the clients update and make this lovely green dot appear ??

please suggest..

Hi

Please check if windows firewall is turned  off on all the clients.
the port used by clinets should be open
you can follow this discussion to have the green dot.
You can try updating the policy on one of the clients and check if that works
open the SEP interface, click on help and support
click on troubleshooting
do u see SEPM server name?

Check this discussion for more info on troubleshooting client server communication
