We using Deployment solution 7.6 smoothly few days before. We successfully deploying image on client machine after boot to production altiris agent lost his connection with NS server and after manually update agent gets connected with NS server and takes all other post deployment task.

OR agent takes too much time to update itself and connected to NS server but till the time on NS server side under image deploy task it all showing failed but on client side it got success.

because of this we cannot confirm that whether post deployment task got succeed or not.

I hope after first boot to production of image deployment if altiris agent gets communicated in very less time as earlier it was connected then it took all the post deployment task immediately and gives success result on NS server under task.

When the computer and Altiris agent goes up after you image deployment, you have to wait few minutes to the agent connect in your Notification Server.

You can accelerate this process only running the "Update resource membership - Delta", clicking on Settings > Notification Server > Resource Membership Update. Click on "run" buttom in Delta Update Schedule option. When the task completes, click on "update" button in your agent and it will receive the policies.

Also you can change the schedule of these updates,  but have a look in Altiris documentation before change anything.

i just deployed image again on one system and observ that after image deployed machine boot into production. After i logged on to that system when i seen to Agent status its continuosly registering and De-registering with task server within a seconds of period. 

This happens only with Physical machines otherwise on virtual machines its working perfect.
