    Hello,

I am testing a inplace upgrade from 12.1.5337.5000.105 to 12.1.6318.6100.105. For the installation I'm using the Symantec Manager. In the Symantec manager under Clients - “Install Packages”   I’ve added two packages (32 bits and 64 bits).

When the installation is ready there is a pending reboot and after the reboot i still see two folders under Symantec Endpoint Protection, folder 12.1.5337.5000.105 & 12.1.6318.6100.105

I find this very annoying and unnecessary standing on the C:\ directory. I thought that the old folder version would disappear after the reboot, did I do something wrong? If ik look in C:\Program Files (x86)\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\12.1.5337.5000.105 there is only a empty Bin-folder.

    Anyone with a suggestion.

    With kinds regards,

    Edward

That is normal behaviour when upgrading from one 12.1 version to another. You can manually delete it if you wish.

I quess we have to make a powershell script to do that, i don't want to this action on 900 servers separated.

If I am not wrong the other folder will get deleted once the machine is rebooted post upgrade.
